A Taste for Life is a fundraising event for Fife House which holds a special place in the heart of many people in Toronto. The event is a cherished annual tradition, uniting people from all walks of life and all over the city in support of Fife House, a charitable organization dedicated to providing critical supportive housing and essential services for individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS, and experiencing homelessness/housing precarity.

The concept is simple: Torontonians are encouraged to support Fife House by eating at participating restaurants with family, friends, and colleagues on the day of the event, and in turn, the restaurant will donate a percentage of sales to Fife House. Diners are also invited and encouraged to make a donation of their own directly to Fife House as well to increase the collective impact of funds raised for Fife House.

Since 2001, A Taste for Life has helped raise over $1.5 million for Fife House’s supportive housing programs and services in Toronto – a testament to the enduring generosity and solidarity of Torontonians. Your unwavering support has made a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable community members that look to Fife House for support, and for that, we are truly grateful.
